Connecting with Offline Segway Scooters Through the Launcher App
Use Segway Launcher when a Segway Max scooter is offline and you need a direct Bluetooth connection for local checks or recovery actions.
Only for supported fleet scooters
Segway Launcher access only applies to scooters purchased and provisioned for Levy Fleets / Segway fleet operation. It will not work for arbitrary consumer Segway scooters.
Install Segway Launcher
Segway Launcher is available on iOS:

For Android or region-specific installs, use the package provided by Segway or your Levy onboarding team.
The Launcher login uses the Segway platform code plus operator credentials issued for your fleet.

Use the username and password provided during onboarding. If you do not have them, contact Levy support or the fleet administrator who owns the Segway account.
Connect Over Bluetooth
- Open Segway Launcher.
- Sign in with your platform code and operator credentials.
- Tap the Bluetooth tile on the opening screen.
- Scan the scooter's Segway QR code. This is the Segway fleet QR code, not the Levy rider-app QR code.
- Stand near the scooter while the app connects.
- Use the available Bluetooth actions for local diagnostics or recovery.
What Bluetooth Access Is For
Bluetooth access is useful when:
- The scooter is offline and cannot receive remote IoT commands.
- You need to verify local scooter status.
- You need to check firmware, fault, or alert details in Segway tooling.
- You need to recover a vehicle before its cellular connection is restored.

Common Issues
| Issue | Fix |
|---|---|
| Scooter does not appear | Move closer, enable Bluetooth and location permissions, and rescan. |
| QR code fails | Confirm you scanned the Segway QR code, not the Levy rider QR code. |
| Login fails | Confirm platform code and operator credentials. |
| Bluetooth connects but actions fail | Check scooter battery, lock state, and firmware status. |
