Batch Activation & Suspension of Scooters
If your scooters are already registered in your Dashboard and you want to activate, suspend, or reactivate multiple scooters at once, you can use the Batch Selected feature in the Scooters > Vehicle Activation section.
This tutorial applies to Segway Pass, Rent Pass, and Dashboard API users.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open the Segway Dashboard at https://dashboard.segwaydiscovery.com
Step 2: Enter your credentials (platform code, username, password). Your credentials were emailed to you at registration.
Step 3: Navigate to Scooters > Vehicle Activation
Step 4: Use the checkboxes to select the scooters you want to activate or suspend
Step 5: Click the Batch Selected button and choose the desired action (Activate, Suspend, or Reactivate)
Step 6: Confirm the action in the dialog that appears
Notes
- Activation makes a scooter available for rental
- Suspension removes a scooter from service without deleting it
- Reactivation restores a previously suspended scooter
- You can filter by IoT type, status, or other criteria before batching
