The manual is treated as primary where it conflicts with the intro deck: manual lists 1.1 kg and ABS housing; intro deck lists 1.2 kg and glass-fiber reinforced composite with fire-retardant characteristics. Sentinel is a Belgian company headquartered at Corda Campus in Hasselt, founded in 2017; sentinel-tec.com is the B2B / OEM brand and Zingi (zingi.solutions) is the bike-share spinoff. The S90 is the only model in the Sentinel range with explicit CANBUS and UART e-bike motor integration (tested with Bosch and Bafang), allowing the lock state to immobilize the motor itself; its 80 mm shackle is purpose-built for cargo and fat-tire e-bikes.
