About This Product

The OC33 is the smart bike lock Levy uses to retrofit standard, non-IoT bicycles into app-rentable assets. Its horseshoe body integrates a steel cable, so the same SKU can secure to the rear wheel only or route through a fixed object when a deployment needs an extra capture point. The 84 mm opening was sized for fat-tire e-bikes, so the same lock works across mixed bike types in a single fleet.

On the connectivity side, the lock combines cellular (2G/4G), BLE 5.2, and a multi-constellation GNSS receiver (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, plus Wi-Fi positioning fallback). That gives Levy several access patterns to support in production: rider-app unlock, QR auto-unlock, Bluetooth proximity, and RFID card access for staff or pass-based programs. Firmware updates can be pushed remotely over the network or applied via BLE during a service visit, which keeps the device manageable once it is mounted on the bike.

The housing is rated IPX7 for outdoor weather exposure, and an onboard 3-axis accelerometer flags vibration, fall, and skew events for tamper alerts. The lock also drives an audible alarm so attempted theft gets attention on the spot rather than only as a backend notification. Battery is configurable at 6,400 mAh or 8,000 mAh depending on how aggressive an operator wants to be on service intervals.

Inside Levy Fleets, OC33-equipped bikes look the same as any other connected vehicle: rides start from the rider app, GPS streams to the operator dashboard, parking-zone rules are enforced at trip-end, and the rider has to physically relock the bike before the trip is allowed to close. Unlock fees, ride charges, wallet balances, and refunds all run through the same billing stack used for scooters and other IoT-equipped fleet vehicles.
