Master Lock 8114D is a manual set-your-own-combination cable lock that Levy can use as a low-cost reference SKU for helmet retention pilots. Master Lock lists it as a 6 ft / 1.8 m by 5/16 in / 8 mm braided-steel cable lock with protective vinyl coating, self-coiling storage, and a resettable 4-dial combination.
This is not a connected helmet lock. There is no remote unlock, lock-state feedback, GPS, scooter-bus integration, helmet-presence detection, or wireless electronics. A fleet workflow would be operational: pre-set and store each lock code, show the code in the rider app at trip start, and rely on the rider plus field checks for relocking.
Treat helmet use, app-displayed codes, and return workflow as Levy implementation notes. Master Lock markets 8114D as a general cable lock for bicycles, scooters, outdoor storage, fences, tools, and job boxes, not as purpose-built fleet helmet-lock hardware.
