Haveltec confirmed all GPS Sharing models support true server-side remote lock/unlock through the I SHARE IT cloud, with BLE as backup. Made in Germany by Haveltec (parent company); the I LOCK IT platform has 15,000+ units deployed worldwide. DED is the GPS-Standard variant of the newer PRO Sharing line (metal housing, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C, LTE, 70 mm tire max, ~600 g). GPS is event-driven, not permanent - the always-on tracking variant is the DEF Premium. Recurring SIM + I SHARE IT cloud connectivity terms vary by model and data requirements. I SHARE IT / haveltec (Karin Haberlandt) declined US market support on 2026-05-13: hardware does not hold FCC certification, current LTE modules are tuned to EU bands and do not provide reliable connectivity in the NY/NJ/PA, South Florida, or Southern California corridors, and shipping integrated large-capacity batteries to the US is not commercially viable for them at small to mid-sized volumes. Do not recommend for US deployments until the vendor confirms certification and US-band hardware. EU deployments remain viable.

I SHARE IT offers the DED variant as the GPS-enabled standard edition in its PRO sharing lineup. It extends the same sharing-focused Bluetooth access workflow with location tracking features for operators who need recovery visibility in addition to lock control.
Haveltec confirmed on 2026-05-11 that GPS Sharing models can receive true server-side lock and unlock commands through the I SHARE IT cloud, with BLE retained as a rider-phone backup. The Standard tier is the event-driven GPS option rather than the permanent-tracking tier.
