How to Unlock a Helmet
Once a smart helmet is bound to a scooter, you can unlock it using the Segway Launcher app. This is useful for operator-assisted helmet retrieval or troubleshooting.

Overview
To unlock a helmet using Segway Launcher:
- Open the Segway Launcher app
- Find the scooter the helmet is bound to
- Select Helmet from the scooter options menu
- Tap Unlock Helmet and confirm
Notes
- The scooter must be within Bluetooth range or online for the helmet unlock command to work
- If the helmet is not responding, verify it is properly bound to the scooter
- Rider-side helmet unlocking (via the rider app) is configured separately through your platform settings
