Switching OKAI Vehicles to the Levy Server

Move OKAI rental scooters and e-bikes from the OKAI server to the Levy Fleets IoT server using Modify Mode and ZK Tool.

Switching OKAI Vehicles to the Levy Server

Use this checklist when an OKAI scooter or e-bike is still pointed at OKAI's server and needs to report into Levy Fleets.

Partner-only server settings

The server IP, port, desktop password, and AT command payloads on this page are visible only to signed-in active Levy Fleets partners.

Required Order of Operations

  1. Charge the vehicle enough that the IoT module stays powered during configuration.
  2. Wake the IoT module by pressing the concealed IoT button for about 10 seconds.
  3. Use Modify Mode to put the IoT into TEST mode if it is not already in TEST mode.
  4. Close Modify Mode before opening ZK Tool.
  5. Use ZK Tool's command pane to send the reporting, server-switch, and restart commands.
  6. Confirm the vehicle appears online in the Levy Fleets dashboard.
  7. Return the IoT module to normal mode before placing the vehicle back into service.

Do not change the APN unless Levy support explicitly asks you to. APN changes can break cellular service even when the server IP and port are correct.

Step 1: Put the IoT in TEST Mode

  1. Close ZK Tool so it does not hold the USB serial port.
  2. Open Modify Mode.
  3. Select the correct USB serial port.
  4. Click Open Port.
  5. Enter the vehicle's IMEI.
  6. Confirm the mode switch.
  7. Close Modify Mode after it reports success or failure.

For LED interpretation, use OKAI IoT Status Lights.

Step 2: Open ZK Tool

  1. Connect the OKAI USB debugging cable to the IoT module and the Windows PC.
  2. Open ZK Tool.
  3. Log in with the ZK Tool desktop password:

Sign in with your active Levy Fleets account to view.

  1. Press Ctrl + L to open the raw command pane.

Desktop password vs. AT password

The ZK Tool desktop password only opens the desktop software. The AT commands use the device's IoT password. Check the vehicle's IoT Credentials section in Levy Fleets if the default AT password does not return OK.

Step 3: Send the Levy Configuration Commands

Send these commands from the ZK Tool command pane in this order.

OKAI reporting-interval AT command — partner content

Sign in with your active Levy Fleets account to view.

OKAI server-switch AT command — partner content

Sign in with your active Levy Fleets account to view.

OKAI device-restart AT command — partner content

Sign in with your active Levy Fleets account to view.

The restart command is required. The server switch can appear to succeed but will not take effect until the IoT module reboots.

Step 4: Verify in Levy Fleets

After restart, wait 30 to 90 seconds for cellular reconnect. Then check:

  • Dashboard > IoT Devices shows the IMEI online.
  • The linked vehicle has fresh telemetry.
  • The latest signal timestamp updates after a few minutes.
  • Lock, unlock, and locate commands work from the vehicle detail page.

If the Device Does Not Reconnect

  1. Wait up to 5 minutes if cellular signal is weak.
  2. Confirm the IoT is not still in TEST mode.
  3. Confirm the server IP and port were entered exactly.
  4. Confirm the SIM is active and seated.
  5. Re-send the restart command.
  6. If it still does not reconnect, capture modem logs with Using ZK Tool to Debug OKAI Fleet Scooter / Bike IoT.
