OKAI EB100 Fleet Onboarding

Use this guide for OKAI EB100, EB100B, and EB100BV3 fleet e-bikes. Each bike needs one IoT device record linked to one vehicle record before it can appear online and receive commands.

What You Need for Each Bike

  • Frame code or fleet vehicle number
  • QR code value
  • 15-digit IMEI
  • ICCID, if the delivery manifest provides one

For a multi-bike delivery, the OKAI delivery manifest is the fastest and safest source. If Levy has already imported the shipment, verify the records instead of creating duplicates. Do not guess missing identifiers or copy one bike's values to another. OKAI-managed SIMs may not expose an ICCID in Levy Fleets, so a blank ICCID does not prevent an EB100 from connecting.

1. Add the IoT Device

If the shipment is not already listed, add each device manually:

  1. Open IoT Devices and select Add IoT Device.
  2. Enter the IMEI exactly as printed. Enter the ICCID only when it is included on the label or delivery manifest.
  3. Select Okai as the IoT type. The form intentionally does not preselect a hardware type.
  4. Select the matching chassis: EB100, EB100B, or EB100BV3.
  5. Save the device.

The OKAI SIM is managed as part of the vehicle integration. Do not activate it from the SIM Cards page. Your business address also has no effect on IoT connectivity.

2. Add the Vehicle

  1. Open Vehicles and select Add Vehicle.
  2. Enter the bike's frame code or fleet vehicle number and QR code.
  3. Select the matching OKAI EB100 vehicle model. If the model is missing, ask Levy support to add it rather than choosing a different model.
  4. Link the IoT device with the same IMEI.
  5. Save the vehicle.

Repeat both steps for every bike. Never reuse an IMEI, ICCID, frame code, or QR code.

3. Power and Connect the Bike

  1. Fully charge the main battery and power on the bike.
  2. Wait several minutes, then refresh IoT Devices.
  3. Confirm the device shows a recent signal, battery reading, and location.

If the bike remains offline, it may still be reporting to the OKAI server. Follow Switching OKAI Vehicles to the Levy Server, then power cycle the bike and check again.

4. Verify Before Rentals

  • Confirm the vehicle appears on the Vehicles page.
  • Confirm telemetry has a recent timestamp.
  • Test the supported lock and unlock commands from the vehicle page.
  • Keep the bike unavailable until commands and telemetry succeed.

Common Setup Problems

What you seeWhat to check
The bike is powered on but absent from both pagesConfirm the shipment was imported. Otherwise, add the IoT device and vehicle using the exact manifest identifiers.
The IoT device exists but is not linkedCreate or open the matching vehicle and link the device with the same IMEI.
The bike exists but has no fresh signal or locationConfirm it is charged and powered on. If it remains offline, follow the server-switch guide above.
The account address looks incompleteUpdate it under Settings > Payouts, but note that the business address does not control IoT connectivity.
