When you enable sharing mode, your scooter becomes available to Levy's global user base. These are verified riders who already have secure payment methods and identity verification on file. When someone nearby wants to rent, they can find and unlock your scooter through the Levy app. You earn from each ride while maintaining full control through your owner dashboard.
Unlike public fleet programs that require city permits to operate on public property, peer-to-peer sharing works on private property you own or have permission to use. Your scooter should be stationed at your home, apartment complex, office, or other private location - not left on public sidewalks or streets. Riders pick up and return to your designated location.
Simply toggle off sharing mode in the app. Your scooter becomes unavailable to renters instantly. If someone is currently on a ride, they'll be notified to end the ride, and you'll regain full control within minutes. You always have priority access to your own vehicle.
All rentals include comprehensive damage protection. If your scooter is damaged during a ride, our support team handles the claim process. You'll be compensated for repairs or replacement parts. We also collect a security deposit from renters to cover potential damages.
You can request a payout anytime from the app. Once requested, funds are transferred to your linked bank account within 2-3 business days. There's no minimum threshold - you can withdraw any amount. Your earnings are automatically credited to your balance after each ride.
Yes! Safe Zones let you define exactly where your scooter operates. You can set boundaries for where renters can travel, and the scooter will automatically alert if it leaves your defined area. You can also restrict rentals to specific times of day.
Rider insurance is included for all rentals through the Levy platform. This covers liability during rides. Your personal scooter insurance (if you have it) typically covers you when you're riding personally. The platform handles all rental-period coverage.
Currently, Levy scooters are fully supported with all Owner Mode features including Bluetooth control, speed settings, and safe zones. We're expanding compatibility to other brands. Contact us if you have a different scooter model - we may be able to add it to the network.
