- Agreement Records: Electronic signatures, typed names, and associated metadata when you sign rental agreements.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Location Data: GPS coordinates during active rentals to track vehicle location, enforce geofenced zones, and provide safety features. We also collect approximate location from your IP address at signup.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version, browser type, and unique device identifiers.
- Usage Data: Ride history, trip routes, rental duration, vehicle interactions, and app usage patterns.
- Vehicle Telemetry: Battery level, speed, lock status, and diagnostic data from rented vehicles during your rental period.
- Network Information: IP address, mobile carrier, and connection type.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the Service: Process rentals, manage your account, handle payments, and enable vehicle access.
- Ensure Safety: Monitor vehicle location during rentals, enforce speed limits and geofenced zones, and respond to incidents or emergencies.
- Verify Identity: Confirm your identity and eligibility to rent vehicles, as required by law or our operating agreements.
- Process Payments: Charge rental fees, process refunds, manage wallet balances, and handle billing disputes.

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Fleet Operators: Operators who manage the vehicles you rent receive limited information necessary to operate their fleet, including ride activity and vehicle condition data.
- Payment Processors: Stripe processes all payment transactions on our behalf.
- Identity Verification Providers: Third-party services that verify your identity when required.
- Communication Services: Providers that deliver SMS messages, push notifications, and email communications.
- Analytics Providers: Services that help us understand how the Service is used (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Error Monitoring: Services that help us identify and fix technical issues.
- Law Enforcement: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect safety or prevent fraud.

4. Location Data
Location tracking is a core part of the Service. During an active rental, we track the vehicle's GPS location to provide navigation, enforce operating zones, and enable safety features. You can review your ride routes in your trip history.
We do not track your personal device location when you are not actively renting a vehicle. Vehicle telemetry (including GPS) is collected independently of your device and is used for fleet management purposes.
5. Data Retention
- Account Data: Retained for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period for legal and business purposes.
- Ride History: Retained for a minimum of 3 years for regulatory compliance and dispute resolution.
- Payment Records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations.
- Identity Verification: Verification results are retained for the duration of your account. Source documents (ID images) are deleted after verification is complete.
- Vehicle Telemetry: Aggregated and anonymized after 90 days; raw telemetry retained for up to 1 year.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest, secure authentication, and role-based access controls. Payment information is handled by PCI-compliant processors and never stored on our servers in plain text.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
