How the program works

You own the fleet.
We power it.

Buy vehicles at manufacturer-direct pricing and run them under your own brand. Levy handles the software, IoT, billing, and rider support. Setup happens while your vehicles are in transit, and you go live within 5 days of delivery.

01Own the fleet

You own every vehicle. Outright, from day one.

Vehicles are titled to your business and sit on your books as assets. Resell them, finance against them, or take them with you if you ever leave. That ownership is the structural reason the economics work.

Lime / Bird / VaaS model

The platform owns the vehicles. You operate them, follow their deployment rules, and split a thin margin on every ride. No equity in the asset, and their hardware cost is recovered from your revenue.

Levy

Operator-owned model

You own the fleet outright. You set pricing. You keep the brand. Levy earns by powering the software and support, aligned with your growth instead of gating it.

Your asset. Your terms. No lock-in.

Because we never own your hardware, our The percentage of net ride revenue Levy takes in exchange for software, IoT, payments, and support. Because we don't own the fleet, we don't have to take a Lime-style 60-80% cut. stays a fraction of what platform-owned fleets take. Platforms that own the vehicles have to recover hardware on every ride. We don't.

Vendor-direct pricing

Manufacturer pricing you can't get alone.

We buy directly from OKAI, Segway, and others across our entire operator network. That volume unlocks pricing an individual operator can't reach, even on a 50-vehicle hotel order. We pass it straight through.

The IoT layer

Every vehicle is online, all the time.

A cellular IoT module ships pre-installed on every vehicle. It's what makes the fleet rentable. Here's how a single unlock command actually travels:

Sub-second on a healthy link

We use KORE Wireless, a global cellular IoT provider. Lets one hardware SKU work in the US, EU, LATAM, and APAC without swapping SIMs. for global cellular. SIMs ship preprovisioned for your region.

GPS tracking

Sub-meter location every 5-10 seconds during a ride; longer intervals when idle.

Remote lock / unlock

Open the vehicle from the dashboard or rider app. Sub-second on healthy connections.

Throttle and speed control

Cap top speed per zone; cut power on overdue rides or out-of-zone vehicles.

Geofence enforcement

No-ride zones disable the throttle; parking zones gate ride-end automatically.

Battery and health telemetry

State of charge, voltage, cell health, error codes. Maintenance alerts auto-trigger.

Anti-theft alerts

Movement while locked, tamper signals, lost-signal patterns. Routed to your phone.

04Your riders

Your rider never sees the word Levy.

They scan, unlock, ride, and pay inside an app that carries your name, your colors, and your terms. We build and maintain it; you get the brand equity.

White-label iOS + Android

Your logo. Your colors. Your terms.

A dedicated app under your developer accounts (or ours, your call). Riders find it by your name in the app stores. Push notifications, emails, and receipts all come from you. There is no "powered by Levy" line anywhere.

  • Your domain for deep links and receipt emails
  • Your support contact in every help screen
  • OTA updates ship features without app-store review

How this payout is calculated

After Stripe fees and sales tax, 70% of the remaining ride revenue is paid to you.

payout = ( Card revenue after Stripe fees. Tracked per-ride in our database so payouts, refunds, and tax stay in lockstep. − sales tax ) × 70%

Under a Lime-style platform that keeps 70%, this same month would pay you $3,955 instead of $9,229. Ownership is the difference.

Wallet-first billing

Wallets keep the ride flowing.

Riders load $10-$100 into a wallet during signup, and every ride draws from that balance. No declines mid-ride, no surprise charges, and far fewer failed payments than card-on-file. Auto top-up protects against mid-ride shutoffs and can be switched off any time.

  • Higher payment success rate (95%+ vs roughly 88% card-on-file)
  • Fewer chargebacks, because riders authorize wallet loads explicitly
  • The portion of a ride's revenue that flows into the operator's payout pool, after Stripe fees and sales tax. This is the basis for the rev-share calculation. tracked per-ride, which drives accurate payouts
  • Sales tax calculated and remitted by Levy for US fleets
  • Refunds always recorded against the ride, never wallet-direct

The rev share funds equity in your business.

Lime-style platforms have to recover their hardware investment on every ride. That is where 60-80% take rates come from. We don't own the fleet, so we don't have to. Every dollar above the rev share pays down your hardware, grows the fleet, or lands as profit.

The partnership

Clear lines. Nothing falls through.

You run ground operations in your market. We run the software, rider support, and warranty layer. Here's the exact split.

You handle
  • Rebalancing and charging

Moving vehicles to high-demand zones and keeping batteries topped up. A small ground crew or a rider-incentive program.

  • Field maintenance

Tire swaps, brake adjustments, parts replacements. Work orders trigger from telemetry; your staff use the operator mobile app.

  • Battery swaps and storage

Where vehicles live overnight, who swaps batteries, where spare parts live. We help spec the ops plan during onboarding.

Levy handles
  • 24/7 rider support

In-app chat and phone route to our team. We resolve 90%+ of tickets without bouncing them to you.

  • Warranty claims

90-day OKAI warranty. Email us photos and the vehicle number; we file the claim and ship replacement parts.

  • Software and uptime

Dashboard, apps, IoT proxy, and payments are all maintained by us. 99.8% platform uptime with active monitoring.

FAQ

The questions we hear on every first call.

Ownership and hardware sourcing at the top, because that's what everyone asks first.

You do. From the day they ship. Vehicles are titled to your business and sit on your books as assets. You can resell them, finance against them, or take them with you if you ever leave the platform.

That's the whole picture.

The next step is a 20-minute call. We'll walk your specific location and fleet size, then come back with a hardware quote within a business day.
