Segway S90L Electric Scooter - Rear Wheel Repair Video

Remove the battery and replace it by referring to S90L-C017 SOP (P1, P2)

Use T20 batch head to remove 4 screws M4*8, remove front plug cover (P3), disconnect motor wire from controller (P4)

Remove rear turn signals on both sides and replace rear turn signals SOP(P5) by referring to S90L-C032

Use 8mm ratchet wrench and needle-nose pliers to take the rear wheel brake line locknut (P6) and adjusting nut (P7), and remove the brake line from the lock column and take out the lock column (P8).

Take dust cover (P9), 11 spanner take M7 hex nut (P10)

Put the vehicle upside down, remove 2 M4*12 screws with T20 head, and remove taillight wire cover (P11)

Remove 1 screw M6x16(P12) on the right side of the rear wheel with H4 batch head, and remove fixed nut M12 and gasket (P13) with 18# sleeve.

Remove the two screws ST3.9*13(P14) on the left side of the rear wheel with PH2 head, and remove the fixed nut M12 and gasket (P15) on the right side of the rear wheel with 18# sleeve.

Pull out the motor wire from the wiring hole on the left side of the battery compartment (P16), pull out the brake wire from the fixed hole on the rear wheel (P17), and remove the rear wheel, drum brake and motor wire cover (P18).

Install the cover plate of the motor wire to the left side of the rear wheel (P19), install the drum brake to the right side of the rear wheel (P20), and then install it to the frame together. Note that the drum brake limit block is stuck in the corresponding slot of the frame, and pull the motor wire out of the slot (P21).

Adjust the cover plate of the motor cable to be close to the side wall of the frame by hand and wrap the motor cable, and align with the corresponding screw hole on the side wall. Tighten the two ST3.9*13 screws on the left with PH2 heads with a torque of 1.5± 0.2n ·m, and fix the cover plate of the motor cable (P22). Install M12 flange nuts and gaskets on both sides of the rear wheel and tighten them with no. 18 spanner with torque of 45±2N·m(P23). Tighten one M6x16 screw on the right side with H4 head with torque of 4-5N·m(P24).

Install rear steering lights on both sides, refer to S90L-C032 replace rear steering lights SOP(P25)

Pass the brake line through the hole in the fixing block (P26), tighten the M7 hexagon nut with no. 11 spanner, torque 4-5N·m (P27), install the dust jacket (P28)

Install the lock column, the brake line passes through the lock column hole (P29), install the adjusting nut (P30) and the locknut, tighten with the needle-nose pliers and no. 8 spanner, torque 5.5±0.5 N·m(P31)

Put the vehicle upside down, install the taillight wire cover, tighten 2 M4*12 screws with T20 batch heads (P32)

Connect motor line and control line and arrange wire harness (P33)

Take the front plug cover and fasten 4 screws M4*8 with T20 batch-head, torque: 1.3-1.5N·m (P34)

Put it into the battery compartment, lift the power plug of the controller end to avoid being crushed by the battery, and plug in the power plug (P35); Close foot pedal (P36)
