How to replace the drum brake line
Tool preparation: 2.7mm pentagonal bit, 3.95mm pentagonal bit, 5.45mm mm pentagonal bit, PH2 bit, H5 bit, cable tie, oblique pliers, Electric screwdriver Part 1: disassembly Remove the front cowl panel and front inner fender Pull out the panel along the edge with force. Remove 4 pentagonal screws ST4.212 with 3.95mm pentagonal bit, then pull out the cowl panel with force. Remove the screws ST4.212 on both sides of the front inner fender and take out the fender. Remove the cowl panel connector upwards and cut off the cable tie. Remove the hidden line shell Remove the 4screws with ST4.212 with 3.95mm pentagonal bit, remove 2 screws M612 with 5.45 mm pentagonal bit, then take out the back hidden line shell. Remove 2 screws ST4.29.5 with PH2 bit, then take out the front hidden line shell. Remove the drum brake line Remove the adjusting nut, lock column and spring for the rear brake line in turn, then take out the rear end of brake line from the drum brake groove. Then take out the front end of brake line from the brake handle groove. Cut and remove the cable ties and pull the brake line out of the frame. Part 2: assembly Install the drum brake line Thread the front end of the brake line upward from the clamp, and install the front end on the brake handle from the groove. Put the rear end of the brake line through the bottom of the frame, and pay attention to placing the brake line above the frame. Install the rear end of the brake line on the drum brake groove, then Install the spring and the lock column in turn, and pass the brake line through the round hole of the lock column, install the adjust nut. Pay attention to the full fit between the adjusting nut and the arc surface of the lock column, and expose 3-5 teeth of the brake line. Install the hidden line shell Install the front hidden wire shell. Pay attention to place the harness into the hidden wire shell, and fasten two screws ST4.29.5 with PH2 bit, Torque: 1.9-2.7 N·m. Install the back hidden wire shell, the hidden wire shell should be buckled in place, fasten two pentagonal screws M614 with 5.45mm pentagonal bit, Torque: 7-11N·m. Then fasten 4 pentagonal screws st4.212 with 3.95mm pentagonal bit, Torque: 1.9-2.7N·m. Arrange the main wiring harness and install the cable tie, then install the cowl panel connector. Install the cable ties to fix the IOT wire harness and brake line. Install the front cowl panel and front inner fender Install the front inner fender, align the clips on both sides with the slots, and press in. fasten the screws on both sides with PH2 bit, Torque: 1.9-2.7N·m. Attach the edge panel to the frame, Pay attention to the alignment of the clip slot. Then fasten 4 pentagonal screws ST4.2*12 with 3.95mm pentagonal bit, and Torque: 1.9-2.7N·m. Install the front plate, and align to the clamping slot and make it fully engaged.
