Change IP and APN for Omni IoT (ES4, MAX, MAX PRO)

This guide explains how to change the server IP address and APN settings on Omni IoT modules using the Omni-Login app via Bluetooth. This is required when a scooter is offline due to incorrect network configuration.

Prerequisites

  • Android smartphone with Omni-Login.apk installed
  • Phone system language set to English (the app displays in Chinese if language is not English)
  • Correct server IP and APN from Segway support

Steps

Step 1: Install the Omni-Login.apk. The app icon will appear in your app list.

Step 2: Open the app. Log in with your Segway-provided credentials.

Step 3: Enable Bluetooth on your phone and stand next to the scooter.

Step 4: Tap Scan to find the IoT device and select it to connect.

Step 5: Once connected, navigate to Parameter Settings > Network.

Step 6: Update the Server IP to the correct address provided by Segway.

Step 7: Update the APN to the correct value for your SIM card/carrier.

Step 8: Tap Save or Set to apply the changes.

Step 9: The IoT module will use the new settings immediately. Wait 2-3 minutes and check if the scooter comes online in the Dashboard.
