Tools Required for S1 Repair
Before performing any repair or maintenance on the Segway S1 ServeBot, ensure you have the correct tools on hand. The following image shows the complete tool kit recommended for S1 repairs.
Tool Reference
The tool kit includes various torx bits, hex keys, and specialty tools required to safely open the S1's panels and replace components.
Essential Tools
Based on S1 repair procedures, you will typically need:
- 2.5mm hex key wrench - for SIM card slot cover and other small fasteners
- Torx bit set (T6, T8, T10, T20) - for panel fasteners
- Phillips screwdriver (PH1, PH2)
- Plastic pry tools - for removing covers without scratching surfaces
- Antistatic wrist strap - recommended when handling electronics
Obtaining Tools
Standard tools are available from electronics retailers and tool suppliers. For specialty Segway tools or replacement parts, contact your Segway Robotics representative.
