How to replace the rear section of brake line?
Tool preparation Torque screwdriver, H3, T25, T30, PH2, 8# wrench, 10#wrench, Needle nose pliers, Tweezers, new reflection stickers and brake line. Remove the stem assembly
Remove 1 M510 strew on the front side of the front tube with T25. Remove 2 M720 strews on the back side of the front tube with T30. Pull out the stem, disconnect the connection of control main line, Remove the black plate cover of the brake box, Take the brake line plastic from the groove of the brake box, Brake wire pass through the open slot of front tube, Remove the brake wire end from the connection block of the brake cable box, then take off the stem assembly
Remove the front tube Remove 1 M620 screw on the front tube with the T30 and take out the Jacket. Then remove the 3 M720 screws on the back side of the front tube with the T30; Take out the tube upward. Take off the Junction box of the brake line. Remove the front fork covers and the fender Remove the four rubber plugs and two reflection stickers, then remove 6 M48 screws with H3 on each side of the front fork cove with tweezers. Separate the front fork covers on both sides by hand and remove the front fork covers. Remove the ST3.59.5 cross recessed pan head tapping screw with the PH2, take out the front fender. Remove the brake line Remove the nylon locknut M5 with 8# ratchet wrench, Remove the adjusting nut, the perforated cylindrical and the dust cover in turn. Remove the M6 hex nut with10# wrench, Remove the brake line from the hole of front fork fixing block. Then pull the brake line out from the bottom of the front fork Install the brake line Thread the brake wire in from the bottom of the front fork and out from the middle hole bolt. The brake line is pierced from the hole of the front fork fixing block, Install the brake junction box on the upper end of the brake line. fasten the M6 hex nut with10# wrench, Torque: 4-6N·m. Install the perforated cylindrical, the dust cove and the adjusting nut, Pre-tighten the nylon locknut M5 with 8# ratchet wrench, Torque: 5.5±0.5 N·m. Install the front fender and the fork covers Install the front fender, Fasten the 4 screws with the PH2, Torque: 1.6±0.1N·m. Install the new fork covers on the scooter and ensure that the front fork covers are locked to each other, Fasten 6 M48 screws on both sides with the H3, Torque: 1.0-1.6N·m, Install the four rubber plugs and two reflection stickers on each side of the front fork. Install the front tube Install the front tube and Jacket on the front fork assembly, confirm that the tube hole is aligned with the tube adapter hole, fasten 3 M720 screws on the back side of the front tube with the T30 bit, Torque: 9-12N·m, place the Jacket in place, and then fasten the front side screw M6*20 with the T30 bit, Torque:5-7N·m. Install the stem assembly
Insert the brake wire from the open slot of front tube, insert the block at the end of the brake into the connecting block of the brake box, The brake wire plastic is installed in the groove of the brake wire box, Install plate cover of the brake box. Connect the control main line and insert the stem into the front tube. Fasten 2 M720 screws with T30, Torque: 9-12N·m, Fasten 1 M510 screw with T25, Torque: 5-6N·m Function detection Power on the scooter, and confirm that there is no problem with this operation Adjust the brake line: Hold the brake handle for three times, Loosen the M5 nut, adjust the turn adjusting nut. Achieve the following results: Power on the scooter, Clamp the brake handle with the 33mm end of brake jig, The left side of the jig should be flush with the first row of convex points of the handle bar grip. the rear light should be flash. Hold the stem and push the scooter in parallel, the front wheel can be turned. Power off the scooter, Clamp the brake handle with the 30mm end of brake jig, Same location as before. Now Hold the stem and push the scooter in parallel, the front wheel can not be turned, and the rear wheel will be cocked. Last step, fasten the M5 nut with 8# wrench and the Needle nose plier, Torque: 5.5±0.5 N·m
