First Fleet Checklist

Use this comprehensive checklist to verify your Levy Fleets operation is fully configured and ready to serve customers. Complete each section before launching to ensure a smooth operation.

Pre-Launch Checklist

Account & Access

  • Dashboard access confirmed - You can log in successfully
  • Password set - Strong password (8+ characters) configured
  • Correct subaccount selected - You're viewing the right location
  • Timezone configured - Settings > Other > Timezone matches your location
  • Language set - Dashboard displays in your preferred language

Payment Configuration

  • Payment system selected - Post Paid or Wallet chosen in Settings > Payments
  • Wallet options configured (if using Wallet):
    • Top-up amounts set (e.g., $10, $25, $50)
    • Bonus percentages defined (e.g., 5%, 12%)
    • Minimum wallet balance set (e.g., $5.00)
  • Auto top-up configured (optional):
    • Auto top-up enabled/disabled as desired
    • Top-up amount set
    • Trigger level set
  • Minimal transaction amount set (default: $1.00)
  • Stripe integration active - Payment processing connected

Identity Verification

  • Verification mode selected:
    • Disabled (no verification)
    • All Users (everyone verifies)
    • Risk-Based (high-risk only)
  • Risk threshold set (if Risk-Based) - Default: 15
  • Terms of Service URL - Valid URL entered
  • Privacy Policy URL - Valid URL entered
  • Rental Agreement URL - Valid URL entered
  • Multi-language URLs (if applicable) - Added for supported locales

Vehicle Configuration

Vehicle Settings

  • Minimum battery percentage set - Recommended: 20%
  • Unit of measure selected - Miles or Kilometers
  • Slow zone speed limit set - Default: 10 km/h

IoT Configuration

  • Okai password set - Default: zk200
  • Queclink password set - Default: ks600
  • Segway password set - Default: 0000
  • Omni password set - Default: 0000
  • Custom passwords entered (if your devices use non-default)

Vehicle Models

  • At least one vehicle model created:
    • Model name set
    • Vehicle type selected (scooter, bike, etc.)
    • Icon assigned (optional)

Vehicles Added

  • At least one vehicle added to fleet:
    • Vehicle number assigned (unique ID)
    • IoT IMEI entered correctly
    • Vehicle model assigned
    • VIN entered (optional)

Vehicle Testing

For each vehicle type, verify:

  • Lock command works - Vehicle wheel locks
  • Unlock command works - Vehicle unlocks
  • Sound command works - Alert plays on vehicle
  • Telemetry updating - Battery and location refresh
  • Last signal recent - Within last 10 minutes

Pricing Configuration

Base Pricing

  • Unlock fee set - One-time charge (e.g., $1.00)
  • Per-minute rate set - Ongoing rate (e.g., $0.39/min)
  • Pause rate set (optional) - Rate while paused
  • Per-distance rate set (optional) - Per km/mile rate
  • Minimum price set - Minimum ride charge
  • Maximum price set (optional) - Daily cap

Pricing Tiers (Optional)

  • Volume discounts configured (if desired):
    • First tier (e.g., 0-30 min at $0.39)
    • Second tier (e.g., 31-60 min at $0.30)
    • Additional tiers as needed

Pricing Verification

  • Pricing active - Not in draft state
  • Pricing assigned to vehicle model - Connected correctly

Zone Configuration

Required Zones

  • Service Area created:
    • Boundary covers your operating region
    • Polygon properly closed (complete shape)
    • Zone named appropriately

Parking Zones

  • At least one parking zone created:
    • Located at logical pickup/dropoff points
    • Near transit, commercial areas, or attractions
    • Properly sized (not too small to find)

Restriction Zones (As Needed)

  • No-Go zones - Dangerous areas marked (highways, private property)
  • No-Parking zones - Restricted parking areas marked
  • Speed Limit zones - Pedestrian areas, school zones marked

Zone Verification

  • All zones display on map - Visible in dashboard
  • Zone boundaries correct - Match intended areas
  • Zone types correct - Parking vs No-Go vs Speed Limit

Ride Settings

Basic Settings

  • Reservation time set - Default: 5 minutes
  • Group ride limit set - Default: 5 vehicles

Auto-Pause Configuration

  • Auto-pause enabled/disabled as desired
  • Stationary detection configured:
    • Duration before pause (default: 30 min)
    • Detection radius (default: 100m)
    • Motion threshold (default: 2 km/h)

Auto-End Configuration

  • Auto-end enabled/disabled as desired
  • Time before auto-end set (default: 30 min after pause)
  • Not moving radius set (default: 75m)

Automatic Refunds

  • Auto-refund enabled/disabled as desired
  • Max duration for refund (default: 3 minutes)
  • Max distance for refund (default: 200 meters)

Customer Experience

Tutorials

  • Tutorial images reviewed - Default or custom images set for:
    • Locate vehicles
    • Scan QR code
    • Lock via app
    • Kick & push
    • Return to pickup
    • Ensure locked
    • Take photo

Referral Program (Optional)

  • Referral program enabled/disabled as desired
  • Referral bonus amount set (e.g., $2.00)
  • Hashtag configured (e.g., #Levy_Electric)

Support Information

  • How-to-ride tutorial URL set
  • FAQ link configured
  • Support email entered
  • Support phone number entered
  • Online chat link set (if applicable)

Alert Configuration

Operational Alerts

  • Alert email addresses configured:
    • Operational alerts email
    • Critical alerts email
  • Alert types enabled/disabled as desired:
    • Low battery alerts
    • Vehicle issue alerts
    • Out of zone alerts
    • Maintenance reminders

Customer Notifications

Pre-Launch Testing

Complete Test Ride

Perform a full test ride to verify all systems:

  1. Start a ride on a test vehicle
  2. Verify unlock - Vehicle unlocks successfully
  3. Check live tracking - Ride appears in Active Rides
  4. Monitor pricing - Live fare updates
  5. Test zones (if possible):
    • Enter a speed limit zone - Speed reduces
    • Enter a no-go zone - Vehicle throttles
    • Exit zones - Restrictions lift
  6. End the ride:
    • Park in a parking zone
    • End ride successfully
    • Vehicle locks
  7. Verify pricing:
    • Unlock fee applied
    • Per-minute charge correct
    • Total matches expected amount
  8. Check ride history - Ride appears in completed rides

Communication Tests

  • Lock command - Works reliably (test 3x)
  • Unlock command - Works reliably (test 3x)
  • Sound command - Works as expected

Dashboard Verification

  • Dashboard metrics updating - Ride count incremented
  • Vehicle status correct - Shows Available after test ride
  • Fleet status accurate - Correct counts per status

Go-Live Checklist

Final Preparations

  • All test rides cleaned up - Refunded or marked as test
  • Vehicles positioned - Placed at desired launch locations
  • Vehicle statuses correct - Set to "Available" for rentable vehicles
  • Battery levels adequate - All vehicles above minimum threshold

Troubleshooting Quick Fixes

Vehicle Won't Lock/Unlock

  1. Check IoT password in Settings > Vehicles
  2. Verify vehicle has recent signal (< 10 min)
  3. Try again in 30 seconds (network delay)

Pricing Not Showing

  1. Verify pricing is marked "Active"
  2. Confirm pricing is linked to vehicle model
  3. Refresh the page

Zone Not Enforcing

  1. Check zone polygon is closed (complete shape)
  2. Verify zone type is correct
  3. Confirm vehicle IoT supports speed limiting

Vehicle Stuck Offline

  1. Check IoT device battery
  2. Verify SIM card is active
  3. Check cellular coverage in area
